I heard on espn980 that he was the first redskins rookie Rb to win the rookie of the week award in the teams 80 year history!

he's not fast. He is just a very patient runner who cuts well and follows his blockers well. He hasn't had a run where he's really broken away from players chasing him like a Roy Helu would do.
Still it doesn't matter, we don't need Alfred to be a speedster, we need him to be the tough and smart workhorse he is.
