| Hester was bad on returns this year. He just doesn't seem like the same explosive player that made him a household name. |

Sounds like he doesnt want to play football anymore. Personally if I was him I would just play out the contract take the millions and retire _________________

Heated statement made by the firing of Smith. Doubt he retires. _________________ AAL: DeAndre Levy 31 Tackles

Two things here...
1] Hester has a history of making these comments like others have pointed out. I say either do it (retire) or shut up about it. Nobody likes a flip-flopper...
2] Hester isn't the same guys we remember. He's essentially washed out as a WR and hasn't been a dynamic returner for a good period of time now. He's more than likely gonna be cut by the Bears, as he's due a nice little roster bonus... _________________

I am pretty sure after some time to cool off, he will change his mind about that. _________________

No, he isn't. It's a bonus based on #1 wide receiver production, and he won't be seeing any of it. |

He might be wanting to retire in order to see where Lovie lands next and follow him there?
It's a cute love story, really. _________________

One could argue that he's already been retired for a couple of seasons now.. _________________

Well, to his credit he's not just a return specialist; he's the best one in league history. _________________
