Lol, none of us want to give up on Locker after 11 starts and it was never even a consideration from our front office. No idea why there are fans in here acting like THIS decision means Jake Locker will be back. He was a top 8 draft pick for goodness sake. Name me one time a team gave up on a QB drafted that high after 11 starts.
He was always going to be back, and he hasn't been bad for a young QB. Flashes of brilliance at times, as well as signs that he still has maturing to do as a thrower. Next year will be big for him, and I look forward to watching it.

Not a fan of these "we're so close to firing you, but we'll give you one more year anyway" kind of deals. These rarely work out and just delay the inevitable.
Good for Munchak and Webster to keep their jobs, but they're immediately on the hotseat and fans/ownership won't tolerate any missteps next year. |

| Bad decision. Of all the coaches who deserved to be fired, Munchak deserved it the most. The Titans had so many pathetic games this year. |

Yes, given that there's always 3 Jags fans rejoicing every time he throws an interception before anybody else even reacts.
I'm not saying Locker isn't a shaky QB...I'm just saying that for the most part, Jags fans love to revel in it.

I doubt he's the guy. But I think you need to give him 1 more year with Locker to see if they can be it.
