No surprise, a Jaguar fan posting this.
Also Reinfeldt is out.

Yea bc we should move on already after only 11 starts and in 3 of those games more than half the O-Line was out. He's also been playing since like Week 3 with a separated shoulder to his non-throwing shoulder. He'll get one more season and if it continues, then Munchak and Locker are gone. _________________

I don't believe in firing coaches after 1-2 seasons - unless they are completely out of their depth. I think Mike Munchak deserves a third season. How is bringing in a completely new staff going to help Jake Locker? Next year is going to be the determining factor in terms of the staff/QB, etc.
I think Bud Adams did the right thing here, some Titans fans might not agree. _________________

people want Locker gone? why?
Jeez, just because he isn't a superstar to begin his career doesn't mean he can't be good. _________________

I'm a big fan of Jake Locker in terms of his talent and attitude, but to be honest he just might never have 'that feel' for the QB position and the ability to make accurate throws...He might never be able to make throws from the pocket at the level he should, some guys just can't do it. Josh Freeman is an example. _________________

Another year of Munchak and Locker? Yesssssss.
One of the worst HC/QB tandems in the NFL. _________________

His accuracy problems are pretty annoying but it's not like he's in a great situation. _________________

Well said and I agree. Although not many other Titans fans do. You can't just completely remake the entire front office and coaching staff every year. Give them another year and if things don't get better, it will be time to move on.
Jake has looked shaky, but he also shows promise. He has the mental makeup and commitment for the position, so give him a full off-season knowing he is the starter (which he hasn't had yet) and see what it does for him. He's also scheduled for surgery so it's difficult to say how much his health was affecting him this year. _________________

It's not just that we had a down year.
It's the fact that we got blown out numerous times, just completely uncompetitive, as well as suck with halftime adjustments.
Our wins came against the Lions, Steelers, Bills, Dolphins, Jets, and Jaguars. Not a single winning record team on there, nor any playoff teams.
As for our losses, we've been blown out by 20+ points 6 times this season. That's just inexcusable.
If Munch and the staff, as well as the team, showed some fight or some potential, but still came up short a few times, I'd be willing to see what he can do next season. But if we can't win any games against playoff bound teams, AND get blown the hell out against the teams that ARE going to the playoffs (or competing), then there's nothing more to see.
But hey, I completely understand giving him another year to help us land a high draft pick. Because that'll be the only good thing Munch can do for us. _________________
