What a strange move. With Webster assuming the GM role last year, how does firing Reinfeldt really affect anything? You fire the guy at the top, but leave all the people he hand-picked in place?

A new HC is the change that should happen. Adams needs to fire himself. Sell the team. _________________

Bud pretty much throw Reinfeldt under the bus with those comments. He basically said that its his fault that Munchak's job was on the line and that the team was terrible this season. While that may be true and all, since Reinfeld was GM (till this past season), I still think the failures of this team falls on the shoulder of the HC just as it does the FO personal. Point being is if Bud feels like Reinfeldt should be let go, why does he feel Webster or Munchak should keep their jobs? Webster I could see, since it was his first year at GM and all,but Munchak has no excuse, imo. Very mix signals from Bud in the last 20-25 mins. _________________

Exactly what I posted on another thread. Ridiculous move. Its not that I'm against firing Reinfeldt... its just, if you're going to fire him, you blow it all up, and change everyone.
His major moves were Munch, Webster, and a lot of the young talent on the team... yet they all stay... and he gets thrown out the door.
As a young kid, I had no idea when choosing to follow this team who the owner was... and maybe I'm just to sentimental to all the players and coaches who have I've called my team for the past 30 years... but its really painful continuing to follow this team with such horrendous leadership.
We as fans deserve new ownership. Its going to be our reward for all these decades of an idiot owner getting in the way of his own and our football success... _________________

Eh, I don't feel so bad for him. He'll get paid for those two years.
I like the move, as I thought the culture that MR created was far too conservative and CYA. I'd like to see further changes on the staff still, but at least we're going in the right direction. Whatever happens everyone from top to bottom is on notice now. The bad part is next year still has high potential to be another downer. |

Report: Webster and Munchak will NOT be fired this off season. Titans also have 5 days after the Super Bowl to decide if Griffin is going to stay. (I think he will) Even though he was the 3rd worst safety this year. From Rotoworld. _________________

Interesting move, but I'm not really surprised be it. When Bud was advised to let go of VY, Reinfeldt (our GM at the time) basically promised him that our QB situation would be handled and solved for years to come. After seeing the play of Hasselbeck early on and the poor play from Locker (the supposed franchise QB) over the last several weeks, he probably felt pretty gypped by MR. Now Bud just needs to get rid of the GM for that stupid Griffin contract and letting Finny walk, then fire Jerry Gray (not GrEy by the way). GO BUD!!! Clean house if you have to. _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |

After seeing his performance this season and the years before that, I wouldn't need 5 days to decide. As soon as the clock hits zero (0:00) in the SuperBowl, his a$$ is gone. If they decide to hang on to him for another season, that tells me that they're either in denial about him or they're willing to settle for mediocre performance. That's not the make of a championship organization.
I know how Bud is and I really don't expect Webster to be around too long. Just stay tuned. Now that Fisher's not around to do any backstabbing, we might be seeing the return of Floyd Reese for all we know. _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |
