I think McCoy wants to coach for us. We are definitely the best team looking for a HC position and we can easily be Super Bowl contenders with the right adjustments. This is the best job on the market and McCoy knows that. I think we still got a shot on him. _________________ O-Line, O-Line! Come out, come out, where ever you are!

McCoy got left at the alter by the Dolphins last season when they surprised everyone and went with Philbin.
I doubt he waits on anyone if he gets an offer.
I am sure that Emery is prepared and he won't lose his guy. _________________

Yeah it's not like anything will be different whether he is hired today or a week from now. I get that we all want closure, it's just that the speed at which he is hired isn't that big of a deal. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

I also think its the fact that NOTHING has leaked about ANYTHING like the other searches have been it seems. _________________

I agree. The part that gets me is that Emery is lauded by everyone for his thoroughness and people largely agree that his plan for the Bears is a good one but then when we don't get something as quickly as we'd like we stop giving him the benefit of the doubt. If you trust him to get the right guy then allow him the time to do it his way. FWIW I don't think there is just one right guy in the list of candidates. I think several of these guys would be good hires for us. If we don't get McCoy it's not the end of the world IMO, and that assumes he even wants to hire McCoy which we don't even know. He could just as easily be the next McDaniels versus the next Sean Payton for all we know, same as any of the other candidates. All of our candidates, outside of Singletary who is unlikely to be hired, have a great deal of unknown about them. _________________

I doubt Emery has been waiting for Bevell. I really think McCoy is our guy. |

Come on guys, fullback dive to Jason McKie in the red zone, GUTSY CALL.
Actually nothing Turner ever called was quite as bad as end-around to Earl Bennett on 3rd down. That one's so bad we try not to speak of it. _________________
