I hope so, although i never understood why both he and Charlie Weis decided to join the Chiefs as OC/DC over re-joining the Patriots when they were fired as head coaches.

If he and BB are on good terms, I'd love it. Patricia hasn't really shown anything in terms of the product on the field that says he deserves to keep his job.

Im not sure that would be a good idea.
Bill O'Brien got a better job and McDaniels came in for a smooth segue. But Patricia would be getting demoted/fired, things would be spikey and tense and thats not good in play-off time.

I think Patricia has been given considerably more leeway lately and it has paid off. The super cautious style has given way to much more pressure of late. I wonder if RAC would come in as an assistant coach/line coach or something of that ilk as I'm not sure Bill would like to upset the applecart here. Would love to see how it plays out.

Yeah I think it goes without saying this would be an offseason move.

Didn's Pees's contract expired in the end of the 2008 season and he simply didn't re-sign? not sure i would consider that "firing".
To my understand it was his choice not to come back aswell.

His daughter lives in Boston or nearby. Hopefully that helps. Love for him to come on as an advisory role or something?
