Wonder if Banner is doing a West Coast swing of interviews?
G.Roman N.Turner D.Shaw C.Kelly also perhaps?
Pure hypothetical on my part BTW. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

wonder if Horton is a STRICTLY a 34 guy? Rooney Rule check mark as well. |
Rooney rule

That things scares me most about going after Chip and Saban is that all other teams would have a huge head start as far as courting and interviewing goes.
If we can't convince either of them, most of our other options could be gone.

Could you see the Browns switching to the 3-4? |
Could you see me vomiting all over myself. |
I personally like the 3-4 better. I'm wondering if the Browns have the right pieces in place for a switch.
The Jets are pursuing Heckert. _________________

No. Heckert built this defense with 4-3 players. Ahtyba Rubin is the only player in the front 7 who would definitely translate. |

The Jets are HORRID and so is their coach.
Reid to the Cards... Heckert should try to follow. _________________

For the record I would much rather stick to a 43, buuuuuuuut
Chris Gocong says you don't know what you're talking about.
Jabaal Sheard is playing well standing up now.
Billy Winn can play anywhere he wants. He was even having an impact as our RE.
Like I said I am on yourside in wanting to keep the 43 though. _________________

I dont know, why interview Horton for the RR when you could just interview a guy like Lovie Smith, someother mid-westerner and not have to travel out to Arizona?
Given all the names that have been mentioned, I have some hope that they are doing a legitimate search (if even just to secure a backup plan to Kelly) _________________

Ok? Outside of not being able to choose a HC, the Jets should be pretty attractive for GM candidates. The defense is pretty close to being completely set. The offense obviously needs a lot work, which a good GM might be able to fix in two offseasons. _________________

Close to being set?
I think the Jets defense is actually pretty overrated. _________________

I wouldn't call the Jets Horrid but I do agree that Ryan is and I feel sorry for you guys. I really thought he was a lock to be fired. _________________

In that media?
With a team that loves drama more than wins?
a locker room with more leaks than the titanic.
With an owner making football decisions over his own hand picked, friend GM?
-- who by the way is still in the building.
Not being able to hire his own coach - try being stuck with a clown...
an over hyped defense
maybe the worst offense in the NFL
and dont forget the qbs... ugh the qbs...
I seriously believe the Bills would be more attractive GM job than the Jets job.
Sorry, I really mean no offense to you but Im just calling it how I see it. _________________
