There is none. Romo is our best option and should be the starter next season. _________________

I don't want Romo gone, but I could see Kyle Orton lead us to the playoffs if necessary. _________________

| I don't think anyone thinks Romo is gone or should be gone.....I think, and I can't speak for everybody, what we are ready for is the replacement to be picked and groomed asap... |

Until there is a reasonable OL... I think it makes no difference. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

Like I said on an earlier post, we should not cut him, but we need to urgently find his futre replacement. Someone we can groom.
Romo is statistically impressive but I don't think he will lead us to anything.
It's a team game yet the QB probably gets too much blame for a loss and too much credit for a win. Yet the Cowboys record with Romo as QB in win or go home games is 1-6 as just reported on the NBC Post Game Show. _________________ Northland |

So answer my question. Who can we plug in RIGHT NOW that is the better option.

Now this I am perfectly fine with. My question is out of frustration from all these Facebook and twitter posts. They all want Romo gone next year, and I just don't see how we can come close to where we were this year without him _________________

| I don't care what the solution is. I want him gone. Tonight. Orton and a 1st round pick are a perfectly reasonable solution. I would honestly take any other QB, starter or backup, in the NFL right now instead of looking at his face one more day. I don't care what the consequences are. He HAS to go. |

At this point, I would be happy if Dallas drafted Tyler Bray in the draft.
But honestly I see 2014 as the year we draft a successor _________________

Romo is a dunce in situations like that. If something bad happens, it will be something peculiar.. _________________

Look, I'll say this. I'm frustrated as all hell right now.
I'm tired of seeing yet another season end the same way as years past. I'm tired of Romo throwing interceptions at crucial moments in crucial games. Whether we keep him another year or not, we ABSOLUTELY must find his replacement. _________________
