Anyone know when DHB is supposed to make his decision? Seems like it's been a while and he's choosing between 2 teams pretty much.

You can't beat Billy, Billy only let's you post something before him if doesn't feel like posting it. Beating Billy, such a silly thing to say.

I was really hoping we'd sign him, but I'm not going to cry over not having him. Time to hope for Domenik Hixon.

Huge Downgrade over DHB.

Would much rather keep what we have than add this guy.

I don't know, Raiders fans seem to hate DHB, and Giants fans seem to think he's a solid #3 who can add something to the ST unit.

Two different scenarios. DHB was such a high pick with expectations. Hixon was a 4th round pick who has seen some production.

That would give the fans the different viewpoints. DHB fits us so much better.

don't expect Hixon to take the offer the Lions gave him weeks ago. At this point, it seems much more likely that he will end up signing with the Raiders, Panthers or another team.

Sounds like Hixon is out too. I wanted to add one FA receiver so we didn't have to count on a rookie so heavily but looks like we'll be going receiver in the second/third. Oh well definitely some guys I like a lot, namely Terrence Williams and Chris Harper.

Also I heard the point of Titans signing Kevin Walters means they're probably for sure trading/releasing Nate Washington. Wouldn't mind him as a stop gap #2 for a year or two.

He'd have to take a pay cut, he's got like 4 million in salary IIRC

Brandon Lloyd is one of the strangest stories I can recall in the NFL. Early on in his career I actually read one analyst who felt he would take over the Rice/Owens legacy in the 49ers, then he was traded to the Redskins and seemed to be ready to drop out of the league. The Bears signed him out of desperation and he was mediocre. He spent a very nondescript yer in Denver, then somehow suddenly became the NFL's leading receiver (or at least close to it) in 2010 . . . only to get traded the next year, despite having a meager salary and acceptable production.

I don't know what it is with this guy, but no one wants him and I can't explain it. I know he's not an elite player as his 2010 numbers might have suggested, but he's also not a scrub.
