Okay so who are your Top-3 with and without JJ's injury? |
I'd say Star / Dion / Joeckel, not in that order.
And before anyone knocks me for talking about a tackle; having two tackles who basically eliminate opponents pass rushers is worth a top 5 selection.
As for Dion - I think a creative DC can do more with him than JJ.

| That's why we need to take Geno if available and hope either Hunt or Ansah is there at 33. Its like we have 2 first rd picks. There's always someone who falls. |

I think it still makes sense to go DL at #2. |
Pass rushers are so stacked in this draft, it'd be a reach to take anyone else at two, maybe thirty-three as well.

I just watched a highlight film of Dion Jordan and I have to say guy has no moves. He runs by a lot of left tackles thats about it. I did see in one of the plays he did a reverse swim move which worked for him he was against a right tackle on the play.
We have plenty of Dion Jordans on the Jaguar roster we need a real pass rusher not another hybrid.

I'm in the crowd that thinks half the first round could very well be DL/Pass Rushers.

It is close though because you would assume at least 1 QB goes Top-2 so that just leaves 1 spot

Agreed. And honestly, it wouldn't be the worst thing if we doubled up there.
We need top-end help at a lot of other spots, but if that's where the value lies...grab us a real good DT and an impact DE. I wouldn't be too upset. |

I'm hoping we double up either way.
If we go Geno, I want an OL in round 2 so they will help make each other better
Same goes for if we take Star, Jordan, Moore, Werner, I want another DL in round 2
