Exactly. |
Why are you so quick to compare him to Tebow? Pryor in his first start showed much better accuracy then Tebow and didn't look to run 50% of the time. Dude, get over it. He showed poise, leadership, and the offense looked the best it had in weeks. |

Yep.......... lol
Pryor and Tebow are nothing alike if you ask me. Pryor actually looks to pass first and has better accuracy as the dude quoted multiple times said. _________________ (MLB)=A's, (NFL)=Raiders, (NBA)= Warriors

Tim Tebow is the poster boy for leadership.
Yes, he showed poise and leadership. He also showed he can't complete passes consistently.
My point is, all the leadership in the world is meaningless if you are throwing hand grenades over 20 yards and can't hit a WR in stride on a slant pattern. Not to mention flat missing wide open targets on occasion. _________________

He showed poise and leadership. Man, that's fantastic.
You know what he didn't show? Traits QBs need to win games.
Accuracy, arm strength, timing LOL you know, the key factors to a QBs game that really matter. He says all the right things, fantastic. Tebow did too as well as a thousand other QBs who did not succeed in this league due to physical limitations.
I don't see how this is so hard to see. If this is any other QB, they're getting DRILLED by this forum.... oh wait, it's already happened w/ Leinart. LOL If Pryor wasn't a Raider, so many people would be making fun of him right now haha _________________

Ray Lewis is the poster boy for leadership (sans his murder). Peyton Manning is the poster boy for leadership. Tebow has a great attitude but at this point he is no leader.
Pryor has said and done all the right things off the field. It is not a finished product on the field, but he did pretty good in his first game. Made mistakes, sure. Made great plays too though. If anyone predicted that he would lead three TD drives before the Chargers game started, you would have laughed. He did a very good job that game, he showed a lot of promise. No sacks, one turnover, 3 TDs...these are positives on the road against a divisionrrival. I don't understand why you won't credit him for those.
He hasn't earned the starting spot but he should have at least earned a roster spot. And some respect. _________________

He he did throw up a lot of jump balls and looked he was tossing a softball, but he Palmer a seasoned vet with a cannon, also misses a lot of passes...the difference is Pryor has been sitting on his butt since last playing a meaningful game in college. You can't teach arm strength, but he has a stronger arm then what he showed....you're made is so made up after one start?
Tagg you too? One start and your convinced he is garbage? I know you watched him at OSU, but one NFL start is all you give him. He misses throws, but he also showed accuracy on some passes. I don't see how you guys are so sold on him being junk. It was first NFL start, he did manage to point puts on the board, you need points to win the game.
He extended plays, kept drives alive, and moved the ball. All this with your favorite sayings "no running game"...and bad defense/special teams play...he had pressure in his face all game too. The guy is 23 years old and showed a lot of promise. |

Exactly and I just revisited the Panther game thread for a moment and took note of all the people making fun of Matt's weak arm yet when it comes to Pryor they don't even mention it and if they do, it's "mechanics he can work out".
It does go both ways and everyone has preferences. _________________
