With the recent news of Knapp and others being fired, what are some names of coaches and personnel you would like to see hired as replacements. Thought it would make sense of having an official thread for this content rather than pilling random names in a series of other threads. _________________

Norv Turner and Ken Whisenhunt would be excellent hires as OCs imo. _________________

The thing about Whisenhunt is the Cardinals didn't seem to have the gadget plays like he used in Pittsburgh, but I would love to see the Raiders speed being used. _________________

I'd prefer Norv Turner or Jeff Tedford but I'd be happy with Ken Wisenhunt or Marty Morninghew. _________________

This for me too. Although that could change depending on who becomes available. I've changed my tune on Shurmur too. Heard lots of negative about him with QBs and being too conservatie. Don't want that |

Norv Turner as OC
Pat Hill as Oline coach
Rich Gannon in some sort of role similar to what Al Saunders was forced into this year. I just think the guy would make one hell of a coach. |

Norv, Marty, and Shurmur are the ones I'm looking at. Marty is a good WCO OC who actually likes to run the ball and we did interview him for HC.
Norv is one of the best OC's in the league.
And I honestly know little about Shurm but he did good with Bradford. _________________

Joe D'Alessandris OL coach. Been in Buffalo the last few years which has had one of the best ZBS league wide during his time there.
Curtis Modkins- Bills former OC the last couple years. Similar philosophy, specializes with running backs. |

Norv for me. Pay him, let him have 100% control of the offense and bring in his people.
Guys like McFadden, Moore, Reece and Ford would thrive in his system. Replace DHB with an actual pass catcher and they'd be a solid O.
After that, Mularky if he gets the boot in JVille.
No to Shurmur. He's a glorified Knapp. Conservative and Rams fans didn't like what he did for Bradford. _________________

Gailey sucks big ones. He refused to give Spiller the carries and touches he deserved as Buffalo's best offensive player. Steve Johnson called him out on play calling. He also was the moron who committed to Fitzpatrick. Lol to that.
And it looks like DA is safe, even though half our fanbase wants him gone. I'm glad it looks like he'll still be around. I generally like what he's done with the defense and think with a better OC and some more talent on our roster, we'll improve next year. |
