I have no idea how far you go back with the Eagles but Reid was clearly the best coach we ever had in Philly in the modern era. Forget the fact he won a lot of games. He changed the culture. Do you know how hard that is in a place like Philly? Players didn't want to come here. How hard would it have been to get a new stadium if he didn't turn this team around? This team is extremely popular nation wide because of the turn around that Reid started. He taught an owner how to be owner and how to run a successful football franchise.
I understand you have a personal dislike for the guy, but only an idiot can look at what he accomplished here and declare him a bum. _________________

I don't understand why some people suggest AR will bring in Vick.
Reports were he wanted a change before the season, he held him out for weeks after his injury knowing his job was at stake.
I think he'll go a diff route maybe Trent Edwards or just go with his 2nd round choice QB _________________

Because your looking at it all wrong Nles. Vick was held out the first few weeks for his concussion symptoms that I have no doubt. By that time the Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs. So the smart thing for Andy to do is allow Foles to play the remainder of the season so Howie, the next HC and Lurie knew exactly what he might be for the future. Is that the Franchise QB moving forward or will one need to be taken with our first rd pick whether at #4 or trading back? That is the reason he was sat and I'm fairly certain was explained to Mike by Andy.
Second bringing in Vick allows AR a Veteran who knows his offense and expectations in the huddle make a easier transition for the KC players to learn. It also takes any and all pressure off the QB they most likely take with the #33 pick whether they trade up or stay put. Vick is a 1-2 year stop gap and would know it barring fantastic play and health. The difference between him and let's say Kolb being brought in is age #1 and the expectation to be KC QB under Andy for the next decade. Hard to sell Kolb as the man if you immediately draft his replacement in the second rd a month later. It's expected with Vick. _________________

| Andy will not bring in Vick. They're going to bring in whichever QB looks the best prior to the draft. |

Agreed.
Vick wouldn't want to be a stop gap. Reid will bring in Kafka, Trent Edwards (if he is released) or even see if AJ Feeley feels like a few games.
He'll then see if any QB is worth the #1 overall pick. Otherwise, he'll look at someone at the top of the second. _________________

Not really. You take a frozen piece of chicken roll it in some salt and fry it or cook it. _________________
