I like what you have done in the off season but after watching the seahawks game, Im starting to want another big CB. If Jonathan Banks happen to be their at 15 then I think we should take him. Also I think drafting another WR could be a waste. I think you go defense again or maybe even QB. _________________

We have two big CBs...Jenkins and White. We need front seven help do that opposing QBs cant sip a glass of tea, knit a quilt, and still have time to find a receiver. |

Jenkins isnt playing corner. I know I know. We need better pass rush but their was times last year where we got good pass rush but our corners was getting wip. Receivers or getting bigger. _________________

Lets get this straightened out right now. Malcolm Jenkins doesn't have "coverage skills" and he can't tackle for ish. No way would he succeed at SS, he's a bust, plain and simple. No more excuses guys. Excuses is how we ended up with the worst defense in history. _________________

looks like you're right.
A lot can change in 8 years, an elite QB is the only person I'd ever feel comfortable giving an 8 year contract. _________________

I was thinking the same, but I've seen a few people in the forum posting mocks with us having a second rounder. I was wondering if there was something I was missing out on, or people were just being optimistic lol _________________

| I'm liking our opponents next year. We get the Cardinals, Niners, Cowboys, Bills, and Dolphins at home and travel to face the Rams, Seahawks, Bears, Patriots, and Jets. Some tough games in there but I like our odds against these teams. |

That schedule doesn't look nearly as tough as last years did when I first saw it. Just my opinion though _________________

Here's a list of our free agents & their PFF ratings:
https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/01/01/free-agents-new-orleans-saints/
Some thoughts on this:
- Our oline could end up being a big need in the draft this off season, depending on what sort of money De La Puente & Bushrod ask for.
- Galette needs to be re-signed long term in case he breaks out
- Mack has provided decent depth at CB so would like to see him stay
- Henderson should be let go with Morgan taking the deep threat role full time
- Something needs to be done with Ivory, but I suspect he will leave for nothing with the extended snaps Ingram took towards the end of the season
- Ellis shouldn't be re-signed, I'd rather have Johnson, Hicks & Bunkley at DT with another body picked up in the draft / FA |

You're a lot more optimistic than me. Right now, with the way the defense stands, that schedule looks pretty tough. Bears, Pats, and Seahawks are really tough in their own stadiums. Rams always seem to have the Saints #. Niners are still going to be tough as nails. Cowboys will be a hard fought game. Throw in division games.....tough schedule. I have faith in Payton, but Saints D needs major fix to be competitive. _________________

About as likely as the Falcons winning the Super Bowl this season. NOT GOOD.
This is very personal to Goodell at this point. The Saints coaches and front office did everything in their power to kiss the ring...but it won't matter. Goodell only made that stipulation to keep them quite. No way that he does ANYTHING to the benefit of the Saints. |
