as we close out the season, a personal note

not as much football related as forum related, but i would like to express my gratitude for the posters here, their views, their dedication, and general good sportsmanship.

someone commented this morning in the GDT how it has been a long week and the game is finally at hand, but think back to when we couldn't wait for the 2012 season to start! doesn't seem that long ago....

the Vikes, and our forum, have had a year of ups and downs, disappointments and surprises, hits and misses. but through it all we've kept our heads level and our respect for each other in the forefront.

it is the community here i admire and enjoy the most, and like any family or friendship it doesn't go perfectly on every day. but it perseveres and looks at the big picture, the end game. from Alaska to Tampa, from Belgium and Canada, and most everywhere in between, we have some of the most interesting and enjoyable members of this entire site.

Skol, my friends. to 2012 and beyond!

Of course, it's more enjoyable when your team wins. We had a treat, having The Vikings win 10 games and make the playoffs when 6-10 or 7-9 was guessed by most people.
