People can say what they will... I see a lot of quitting on this defense!
To many just going through the motions, don't wanna tackle or get physical. Panthers taking it to us because they want it more.
Were a lazy football team right now...

| Sucks to end the season like this, but this defense needs a lot of improvement. We need to cut Smith and do not extend Ellis. Both aren't worth their money and any starting spot in the NFL. Give young guys like Hicks, Galette and Wilson more playing time and add some depth to our front 4! |

Quitting is unacceptable. I'm done with this season. I'm actually looking forward to the offseason...especially the players who get cut. Which should be a crap ton off defensive players.

I don't think the Saints have ever done that, and I hope they don't start now. I'd rather finish .500 than move up a spot on the draft board. |
No tanking... not worth going from 16 to 15! Enough d-line talent in this draft to finish strong and still get a stud. |

Say we do lose today and go 7-9... what is the highest selection we can get the way things sit? |
If Miami wins I believe we would go up to 12, right now were sitting at 13 if we lose to the Panthers.

Man... if dat be the case, should we trade down? this defense is more than a top 15 pick away. This is a deep draft, maybe we could land a guy like Okafor later while adding a 2nd rounder...

I was thinking the same thing, and I was also thinking about targeting Okafor.
