Multiple reports out this morning saying Kelley has ended his NFL HC interviews and is headed back to Oregon. _________________

What he's doing is really stupid, because he's hurting himself on both fronts. By constantly teasing NFL teams, he is limiting his options as to which teams will want to hire him because he's burned others in the past. And, he runs the risk of losing recruits at the collegiate level now that they know his intentions are to jump to the NFL as soon as he can. He's sending very poor messages to his players and to NFL execs. It's almost like he's burning both bridges at the same time. _________________

Talk about a coach who never had a chance to be successful. The Jets are a very poorly run organization. They gave him nothing to work with offensively and then wondered why he couldn't produce. Well, when you have a terrible bust a QB, a backup QB who can't play, a third string QB who is totally unknown, no viable RBs, and no viable WRs, it's kinda hard to be a successful offensive coordinator.....unless your goal is to develop an offense which can't score. _________________

Exactly. Would welcome Sparano back with open arms should Callahan get the OC gig full time. _________________

So long as he doesn't try to install the Wildcat, I'd give him a shot. He and Garrett worked well together before. _________________

idk, given the right situation it worked. Guess I really don't care one way or another. Just want to see this team win, no matter what the offense is. _________________

I'll take him as our OC, thank you.
And in my opinion, being canned by Jacksonville is a blessing in disguise. That organization is a bloody mess. Worse than the Jets. _________________

Brian Kelley has turned down the Eagles, he is staying with the Irish!
He is the 3rd interviewee to turn the Eagles down. _________________

Something must be very wrong with the structure of that team. Philly has great skill position players, so I wonder why coaches would turn the job down. Jeffrey Lurie has shown that he's a very patient owner who will give his coach a lot of stroke with respect to scheme, personnel, assistants, etc. I have no idea why the Eagles haven't filled that vacancy. _________________

@RapSheet: The #Cardinals have offered their head coaching job to Bruce Arians, I'm told. He is expected to accept. _________________
