Last game of the year
The Panthers lead the all-time series, 18-17. Saints are favored by 5.5 points and the O/U is being set at 54 points.
Amini Silatolu was placed on IR and Greg Hardy may miss the game for family issues. We will showcase what is probably the worst interior OL of 2012.
Anyway, hopefully we can end on a high note with another spanking of our rivals which will lock up a 2nd place ranking in the NFC South. I think if we lose and the Bucs win, then we wind up in 4th place. So... go Falcons? Ew. I feel dirty saying that.
Could be Ron Rivera's and Rob Chudzinski's last games, so cherish the horrible two minute drills, the wildcat, the option on 3rd and short, blown 58 minute leads, and sideline stoicism from behind sunglasses. They may not be here much longer. _________________

Gah, can't believe it is almost already over. One of the most disappointing seasons ever. _________________

forgot to mention. i think we need 281 yards of offense to make it so the saints allow the most yards in history (beating the record set by the 1981 colts).
suck it, aints!!!
also, i saw one of your posts about cam leading the team in rushing over in general. i think cunningham was the last to do it in 1990. so... unless dwill goes off, 2008 style, cam will be the first QB in over two decades to lead his team in rushing. _________________

I'm really interested to see who gets the start at LG. Thomas Austin and Bruce Campbell got some time there last week, Austin played a lot more that I saw, and was pretty good.
This will be a good chance for Frank Alexander, and to a lesser extent, guys like Mario Addison.
EDIT: Looks like Hangartner will be back, so nevermind about LG (Hangman at center, Byers at LG). _________________

Keep seeing people say this is the make or break game for Rivera. It isn't. Let's get a win and a Rivera firing. _________________

Just saw that Hangartner is inactive smh. I hope this isnt a repeat of the hits Cam took against Oakland. _________________

| I really wish we had Hardy for this game. We really need him. Hopefully CJ and Alexander can step up big. |

| If Rivera's chances really hinge on this game, he isn't looking like he'll be around next year. Hardy and Amini being out really hurt his chances. |

We are playing the Saints, I don't think they could generate a pass rush if a wet paper bag was our Oline. _________________
