This is something that obviously has to be discussed. Two years ago, he was one of the top corners in the whole NFL, was a playmaker and the play he made on Matt Ryan in the playoffs will forever be etched in our brain/heart. However, since then he has been anything but. Whether its avoiding contact or getting burned, he has been embarrassing. He has games when he flashes his former brilliance, but it's been alot more bad than good lately. What do you think is behind his poor play? He's still a relatively young player as well. _________________

I posted in a different thread that he was my most disappointing player of 2012 for the Packers. We needed him to be a leader and someone we could rely on, but in reality, he was anything but.
Seemed like he was always two steps behind the player he was assigned to. He also just looked slow and soft.
The guy needs to do a little soul searching this offseason and find that fire again. |

Well, he got paid .. then he got hurt. Ever since the injury he hasn't played with same level of intensity. He sure talks a good game out on the field, but he plays very soft.

People have mentioned the injury changing his technique and such. Maybe it made him soft as well.
Tramon thinks he's hot ish now, too. _________________

He also doesn't have an All Pro safety over the top anymore. Burnett is average at best and the rest of the safeties are garbage.

Doubt he's cut this offseason, especially with how volatile the secondary is with our young defensive backs. I think he's more likely to get cut next year when our young defensive backs have another year of production. _________________

Agreed, Im glad ted has the philosophy that you can never have too many skilled people on the edges (WR and CB).
Tramon is probably still playing soft because he didnt want to reinjure the shoulder, no idea what we need to do to fix it though _________________

He actually hasn't played that bad, remember when he shut down megatron. I think you've been listening to to much troy airhead.

Or against Minnesota, or a bunch of other games.
He came to play against Calvin, okay. That doesn't excuse everything else. _________________

He played pretty darn well vs Marshall twice too.
I don't think Tramon is anywhere near the problem as the scheme and persona of the D. _________________

Plays well against the hardest competition, gets dominated by scrubs. Hope that House steps up and makes Williams expendable.
