As much as it pains me to say, I think he's gone. I have a serious feeling he's gone.
1. Despite comments a year ago that he wanted to win a Super Bowl as a coordinator, Jurecki just reported a few days ago that Horton is "chomping at the bit" for a head coaching job.
2. Because he's a Rooney Rule candidate (One of the only decent one's I know), he's all but guaranteed a ton of interviews.
3. If last year's Rams interview is any indication, he's going to nail those interviews.
I truly believe he's gone.

I believe he will be gone to. Arizona for some reason wants to keep Whiz around so some other team will hire Horton as a HC.

The 2nd one brings up an interesting point: If all the recent talk is that Horton is gone after this season, that begs the question "Why doesn't the Cardinals' FO want him as a HC?!?" Is the faith there in Whis or is there something negative they see in Horton?

It truely seems as if 90% of fans would prefer Whiz be fired now.
Oh how things have changed even from mid season.

Ray was a Whiz guy too... |
Raich has been here under the likes of Clancy and Billy Davis. Ray had been with - in Pittsburgh.
Plus our LB play hasn't been all the great this season.

Previously an offensive assistant under current Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt with the Pittsburgh Steelers for three seasons (2004-06), Raich switched to the defensive side of the ball with the Cardinals, helping to coach the position he played in college.
