I want more coaches on the staff who have been HCs. Any chance Rod Marinelli follows Lovie where ever he goes? (hope its Buffalo, but dont want to jinx it lol). | Most likely Rod Marinelli will follow Lovie Smith wherever he goes. |
I sure hope so! also Hamilton would be an interesting choice for OC I would be down for it 100%. | Lovie gave Pep his first real job as the QB Coach for the Bears. When Ron Turner was fired, Pep lost his job by default b/c he was not one of Martz's guys. He's done a real good job at Stanford. _________________

Interesting. I would be ok with this, but I feel as if Buffalo has more interest in Chip Kelly, Ken Whisenhunt and Lovie Smith.
Ps. I hate PFT and the dumb way they try and make jokes in their blogs. Its annoying. |
Really my only concern with Haslett is which defense he'd run. I believe the Skins have always run a 3-4 with him as DC, and I really don't want to try and switch back to that with our current personnel in place. | I'm pretty sure that the Saints (HC '00-'05) and Rams (DC '06-'07) ran a 4-3. I could be wrong but I dont think I am. |
You may very well be right. _________________

Hmm... Does this mean that Lovie will be interviewed on Sunday? _________________

Ian Rapport : "Ken Whisenhunt to Buffalo, could bring in Alex Smith and groom a rookie."
Ian Rapport : "Big Question for Whisenhunt ! "Could he work with Alex Smith in Buffalo, which is one possibility, while they groom younger one. We'll see"
Seems Ian Rapport thinks Whisenhunt will be our HC |

If we got Lovie we'd have an actual NFL staff with actual NFL coaches that know what they're doing.
I don't think we've had that since Marv Levy retired.
Can't wait, I'v got a lot of confidence we land Lovie. _________________

Can confirm: Buffalo #Bills head coaching job is Ken Whisenhunt's if he wants it. |
How reliable is this guy? _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

He writes for bleacher report, so IMO not very.
We also have interviews still with Lovie Smith, Mike Mccoy and Chip Kelly. _________________

My list
1. Lovie
2. Ray Horton
3. Chip Kelly
Any other options would be disappointing. _________________

That's good. It's good for that program and it's good for the players that stuck around for him, and it's also pretty good for his image IMO. _________________

They're saying the only reason he is still there is because neither team would write the buyout check. _________________
