We had rested starters in previous playoff years, and we all know how that turned out. I think Smitty just wanted to go in a different route this year. The decision bit us in butt, but hindsight is 20/20.

If Abe can't go, we are screwed, especially if we play GB.

d'oh! this was an emberassing game on so many levels. The refs really robbed us in the first half on both sides of the ball, but still, Ryan looked like the Ryan of old nervously dumping it off to whoever was standing at the line of scrimmage. I missed the play where Dunta got hurt but McClain overall played very well I thought. The 4th and Goal to HD was nice but... other than that our offense looked pathetic. I dont know why the coaching is so stubborn on trying to get Turner a touch on every series the man is 95% of the time a waste of a down. Then Abe twisted his ankle six different ways.. That's probably one of the worst things that possibly couldve happened. Nonetheless I think we can take on anyone in the NFC without him, save for Green Bay.

If we miraculously make it to the big game we MUST have Abe back for Peyton or Brady
