yep, he's pretty easily worth a 1st round tender. |
I don't think other teams feel that way. |
Huh? You don't think any other team would give him a first round tender? OK. |

This never happened. |
You're right, the games were more close to average...
But the people that support Finley don't think twice about his money... And that is simple truth, his fans don't really care where it comes from or what they get for the money with Finley. They ignore season production and look at individual game production, just when he catches the ball... Oh, and my fav - the defenses surround him and everyone else runs free defense....
If it were true, EVERYONE would want Finley gone.
But if you care about money and cap and then look at Shields - different story. Shields makes min. You can allow a guy like that to develop because you can use the savings for better players around him. You can over look the mistakes, especially when you compare him and his mistakes to others that cost far more. | you continue to display a complete lack of understanding on this situation. Your emotional investment results in your inability to see the situation in reality. Your take on it doesn't actually exist and its an enormous straw man that exists only in your head. |

Are we talking about Mike Wallace or Shields?
Both are worth it in my opinion. More so Shields because of how much great cover corners are in demand and the potential he has. _________________

Oh I see the confusion now. I meant he was easily worth the 1st red tender money to us. |

A few thoughts...
Shields has gotta stay. That kinda talent at 25 years old and Playoff experience isnt easy to find. Get him signed.
Hayword/Shields is the future of Packer land. Tramon is 29 years old, which gives him 2-3 more high level seasons at his position.

Don't forget House. He's looked the part thus far. We have a deep backfield. _________________

I think the confusion came from other teams giving up a first to get Shields. If I'm GM of another team I don't think I pull the trigger on that unless I'm picking 31 or 32 just due to the new wage scale. 1st round picks are money. 5 years of cheap team control for what should be a difference maker. It also depends on what you project the draft to be like (weak or strong for where you are picking). _________________
