Why has Donny Drama been such a tool since leaving Philly?
He's tarnished the marginally good image he once had with Eagle fans.

Seriously. I love(d?) McNabb, but it's getting harder and harder to still like this guy with the way he's been acting since his departure.

Knew this thread was coming.  What he said was the absolute truth. I've said it for years. People especially in this forum were so obsessed with not winning the SB they never realized how spoiled and self entitled they had become. As though what occured in the AR/McNabb era happens all the time. I just hope we don't turn into the SF, Dal, MIA, BUF of the NFL when they too lost a true Franchise QB. Let alone be unlucky enough to join the Rams, Browns and Raiders in obscurity.

What he said may indeed be true, but let's not sit here and act like he did anything meaningful after he left Philly. We weren't going to do any better had we kept him, yet it still seems to me that he's a little hurt over being dealt. Remember when he beat us in that first game after he left, and he was in their locker room saying "the Eagles will regret this" all happy faced.

You don't know that for certain though. Mcnabb had led the offense to two straight Eagles scoring records with at that time Rookies (Maclin/McCoy) and 2nd year players (Desean/Celek) at all of the skilled posistions. Who's to say with certainty he wouldn't or couldn't have grown with Desean, Mac ,Celek and Shady? One thing you could never say is that Donovan didn't know AR offenses through and through. The one thing I know without a doubt and unequivocally is that a Donovan McNabb led eagle team would never had set back to back records for TO's in a season! He Damn sure wouldn't have Mark Sanchez / Mike Vick esq type TO's, that's for sure. I'm not suggesting a SB or anything crazy like that but to say we would have done nothing with him based on two dysfunctional situations in Wash/Minny is absurd. I long for the days of killing goffers instead of 3 TO's a gm on avg. over the past two.
