I was visited by the Ghost of Bob Marley this Christmas and he presented me with a vision in which Red McCombs was playing the role of Scrooge in an off-off-off-off Broadway presentation of A Christmas Carol Tim Geitner played Bob Kratchit's son. The real twist? Bill Murray appeared as a game official holding a down marker post which continued to display 2nd down on every down.
As I rubbed my dry, red eyes, I asked Bob Marley for some Visine, and he told me he would give me some if I would pose the following question to the Purple Faithful:
If AP is 5 yards shy of the NFL single season rushing record with 0:30 left to play in the GB game, and the Vikings trail by at least 4 points, but less than 7 points, and the Vikings were driving with the ball placed at the GB 10, on 2nd down, what play(s) would you call, given that the Vikings are in the middle of their last timeout AND they must win to keep their playoff hopes alive? _________________

Run an out route to Rudolph in the front of the endzone and tell Ponder throw it where only Rudolph can get it or throw it away. _________________

AP off left tackle.
if he doesnt get the TD, get to the line and spike it. then throw slant to Wright/Rudolph. _________________

Give Ponder two plays in the huddle to call, then to choose the right one once he reads the D:
A) Peterson with a FB to the left side
B) Percy Harvin bubble screen after everyone else motions to the opposite side |

Run it first, hurry up to the line and spike it. You still have fourth down to work with and a run in that scenario would catch the opponent somewhat off guard. Then you boot Ponder out if Peterson doesn't get the TD, to the left, and have Simpson and Rudolph working crossing routes and Jenkins going to the corner, with Peterson leaking out into the flat, giving Ponder a couple of options and the ability to run if he chooses. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

Lol, that would have really caught them off guard. |

I would do I formation, AP behind Felton, Snap, fake hand off to AP, AP runs off tackle (example left), gets a dump off pass to AP on the side lines to gain yardage on the ground and then get out of bounds.
Its a 6 second play call.
Ponder decides if there is room for AP, if there are blockers there, then Kyle has single coverage and you throw to him (in the end zone). Kyle starts on the side that AP is going to (example left),runs straight and 5 yards deep in end zone, then curls towards the right of the end zone. _________________
