Between this and talks in Oakland about the Defense trying to find leadership, Te'o is going to get a hard look from the staff is my guess. |

Actually , I thought the same thing. He said the team lacks a leader/qb of the defense. Maybe move to 34? |

If we use a top ten pick on Manti Te'o we're going to be terrible again defensively next season. We need to build our defensive line, if we can fix our defensive line problems I bet Burris and Wheeler will look much better next season. _________________

Maybe if they trade down. I could see them drafting a MLB in the 3rd. _________________

I remember Reggie McKenzie saying that you can find good linebackers in the middle and later rounds of the draft during last off-season. I doubt he'd use an early pick on an inside linebacker. We're going to build from the trenches out. _________________

Let me say it in advance, if the Raiders draft Teo, i'll be quite pissed off and worried about this new regime. _________________

Burris is athletic enough to be a catch-all stopgap at any of the LB positions as the organization improves the quality of depth at the LB position. Hopefully Burris will only hold down the position for one season as the Raiders draft Mauti and he's gets healthy for 2014. |
Pretty sure Urlacher played S at NM |
this. didnt urlacher run under a 4.5 flat? _________________

Manti Te'o would be a terrible pick IMO and would be a big alarm bell against the new regime. _________________

If we traded down to the 20's I wouldn't mind the pick. Someone would probably draft him higher though. _________________

Yeah that would be more acceptable. If we trade down to 20 though I'd start looking QB then. If you get one of the top 3 QBs in this draft in the 20s you get good value, just because they aren't Luck/RG3 doesn't mean there isn't good players there.
Smith, Glennon or Wilson would all be nice picks in the 20s. _________________

I would expect Smith and Wilson to be gone maybe Glennon too.
Chiefs, Jags, Bills, Jets, Cards and possibly Browns will all be looking for a QB. _________________

Buffalo, New York, and Arizona could all be possible trade partners on draft day depending on which quarterbacks are still available when we're on the clock. _________________

Yeah, worst case scenario Chiefs and Jags both draft QB.
Actually, the worst case scenario is us beating the chargers this week and dropping out of the top 5. _________________
