I like Patton... not a big fan of the rest tbh. Good effort though. _________________

| I thought Goode just got a new contract? Why cut Pickett and Smith? |

Well there is a reason so many people like Jones. He fits GB as an OL, potential draft position, and as a prospect.
I also absolutely love Taylor as a Green Bay RB... for all of the reasons you outlined. He could be a real 3 down RB for the Packers.
Other than that, I like most of the picks and see where they make sense for the most part. I understand taking a flier on Matthieu, but I just don't really think he has NFL upside.
I also agree that there is no good reason to cut Pickett. _________________

Cuts: Smith, Pickett, Bush. :slap:
Smith is under contract for a few more years and is quality SILB depth.
Bush is not a great DB, but he is invaluable to special teams. It's why we just gave him a new contract.
Pickett. May I ask what exactly you were not thinking? You cut 1 of 3 Run Defenders, 1 of 2 NT, who happens to be one of our best DL. -_______________________________________________________________________- Knighton does NOT make up for this.
Goode is already re-signed
I'll gamble on Hunt in the fourth. Not bad for risk.
Otten Yes
Shamarko Thomas, when you boil it down, Jerron McMillian. A fast box SS from a small school who shows potential and is worth a flier. Would rather get a vocal FS, but that's personal.
Mathieu. I would not draft him here nor there, I would not draft him anywhere, no fliers as UDFA, do not trust him, send him away.
Mauti will do for WILB, but you cut all of our SILB depth. Lattimore and Manning are both WILB.
Kush is worth the UDFA flier.
Not sure about the rest. _________________

So bring in a 3rd down back to back up our other two...3rd down backs? Green is proving a good option, but not long-term answer for starting RB.
Agree with all of the above on Pickett, who is quietly having a very nice year. _________________ Global Warming.....ya....right... |

I'm on board with everyone else on Pickett.
Now at high on Patton for the reason being that when i watched what i could get my hands on of him, he doesn't seem to get much for YAC. That doesn't seem to fit here as the Pack like WRs that get YAC.
Appreciate the effort to make this mock, but not on board with many of the picks and really against getting rid of Pickett. |

| Cutting Pickett frees up $6 million, and he's as good as gone after 2013 anyways. Free up the $$$$ now. |

This would be a terrible decision. Pickett has been one of our best DL this season. |

Some don't think his recent success is worth his price/aggravation (read "mouth")/keeping him considering his inconsistency since returning from injury. He did struggle for a while there, but I've always advocated retaining him. _________________
