Playing for a disappointing team will do that.
I'm actually very okay with this. I want to see a team with a chip on it's shoulder. It should be easy to motivate with the "people don't respect us" angle.
I'm also happy Hardy didn't make it. Might've added to the cost to keep him. He's becoming a cornerstone player.

Luke and Hardy played at a pro bowl level, oh well.

I bet Rodgers or Ryan will pull out at QB, giving Cam the nod there.
Can't really say I'm surprised/disappointed by anyone not being there. _________________

| Is Cam the first alternate? I doubt he would get the players' vote, judging from that (admittedly very biased and probably inaccurate) article about his pro bowl behavior. |

Wow... This just makes me think even less of the pro bowl. Keuchly played better than Derrick Johnson albeit in different conferences.
It looks like it's impossible to make the pro-bowl as a true 4-3 OLB and not 3-4 OLB. It's just an extension of the defensive end position. Despite the talent of those 3-4 guys, TD plays a style I don't think many of them could. I could see TD putting up great sack numbers if they sent him more. Von Miller will probably evolve to play everything. But Robert Mathis and Hali? Sure...
That probowl defense is going to be a mess. Luckily nobody will run the ball in this game.
Peppers honestly wasn't that good this year. Just making it on his name and his market. I'll take CJ and Hardy over him all day. |

i'm just glad our older guys aren't making it off of name anymore. gross has been getting free trips to hawaii for years. luke deserves to be there and it would be a good way to get fans outside of carolina used to seeing his name cuz he's gonna be a stud _________________

I'll be more confused if neither of our DEs make All-Pro rather than them not making the Pro Bowl. I expected that. _________________

Who really cares? More pro bowl appearances means more $ demanded in contracts. We definitely had guys play well enough to make it, which is fine by me. _________________
