400 more total yards, 20 more catches and 3 more tds...
One guy also lost 3 oline starters from opening day.
How Martin didn't make it is mind blowing |
Most of Martin's production came in a 4 weeks span. I can get that, as Martin has faded as of late. Gore still deserves it, dont think it will be that way much longer! |
I can understand if the stats were closer. Looks like Martin has played 4-5 more games than Gore and put up solid stats in them as well.
Maybe it's giving Gore the nod for the work he has done over his career. If that's the case though Barber should be starting over Whitner.
I don't think it will be like that much longer as well, Martin will be a perennial pro bowler. Imagine the numbers he would of threw up if he had Nicks and Joseph all year |
add in a Tight End that doesnt key the defense what we are doing....scary thoughts ahead....gotta find a good backup though. Dont want to run the wheels off of Dougie _________________

| Quote: | Johnson has pulled out of the Pro Bowl to rest the nagging injuries he picked up over the course of the season.
The Buccaneers announced that Vincent Jackson will take Johnson’s spot on the NFC roster. He joins Brandon Marshall of the Bears as the only receivers to make the Pro Bowl in the AFC and NFC in consecutive seasons.
Jackson led the NFL with an average of 19.2 yards per catch in 2012 and he set a franchise record with 216 receiving yards in a game. He joins defensive tackle Gerald McCoy to give the Bucs multiple Pro Bowlers for the first time since 2008. |
20 yards per catch...
Glad to see Jackson got in alternate or not. _________________

Good to see him get in even as an alternate. Not that anyone is rooting for the Falcons but if the 49ers go to the Super Bowl, Martin will get in as well. _________________
