Per Mike Jurecki's twitter, NFL Network analyst Michael Lombardi is interested in becoming the team's next general manager, should the position become available. Lombardi doesn't have a particularly strong track record in his time in the front office but he's well respected in the industry and could build a solid supporting cast IMO.
Jurecki went on to suggest that Steve Keim remains the most likely candidate should Rod Graves be relieved of his duties.[/u] _________________

I would rather just stick it out with Graves honestly. _________________

If Whisenhunt is fired, I have a hard time seeing Graves stay on board. I cant think of any GMs that have stuck around after letting go three head coaches (McGinnis, Green, Whisenhunt). That being said, I would rather see this team promote from within. Keim has done a good job and would be worthy of promoting. _________________
