Some of that should be used to extend Monroe.

And I just lost all respect for Aaron Ross as a player. I defended him as a poor scheme fit, he doesn't even deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Referring to his year with the Jaguars, Ross said: It was a nice paid vacation to Florida.

Its great to be back. Words cant explain. From the very start, I talked to [general manager Jerry Reese] when I signed with the Jags. I told him, I have a three-year contract and as soon as its over, Ill be ready to come back home.

The team and fans accepted him, and rooted for and supported his wife as if she was a Jaguar too, before he even played a snap for us and that's the attitude that he had about it?

I understand being dejected when you're losing, but having that attitude from the beginning and viewing it as just a payday? That's just garbage.

That's what gets me the most. The community and team rallied around her in the Olympics and Ross now disrepects the team.

Appearing on NFL Network's NFL AM program Friday morning, Giants CB Aaron Ross said he signed with the Jaguars last offseason only for the money.
"It was a nice paid vacation to Florida," said Ross, who collected over $2.25 million of a deal alleged to be worth $9.75 million over three years. He was released on March 8. "So yeah, Im very happy to be back with the Giants," added Ross. He's back with the G-Men on a one-year deal for the minimum salary.

Monroe framework....
http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/4/5/4186616/jaguars-eugene-monroe-contract

Quote:
Monroe, 25, played with a revolving door of sub-par left guards all season and was still able to rank Top 10 among left tackles according to advanced stats. Going forward it's likely looking like it will cost the Jaguars in the range of $7.5-8.5 million per year in the $17-20 million guaranteed range.
