I really hope Smith is re-signed. Big help to our defense.
Jones on the other hand, i could take it or leave it. He's a great FB, but if he's staying, it's gotta be for a smaller dollar figure. I'm sure we could find ourselves a very serviceable FB for less if we have to...i just don't think it's as important a position for us any more. Assuming Khan's new GM carries on building towards a more pass-oriented offensive style, as seems to be the agenda. |

I want to hear who Corry think we should draft at #2 I hope it aint Sheldon Richardson or Star Lotulelei. I hope you don't think like Gene Smith. We take someone out of The School of the mines in the first round.

They don't even play the same position, why would that be relevant? We get a weak side LB, so we won't keep our strong side LB?
Further, the time to resign Smith will be before the draft.
I can pretty much say, with 100% certainty, that any favor towards Jarvis Jones will play absolutely no role in determining whether Daryl Smith is resigned.
