Congratulations to Brandon Marshall, Julius Peppers, Henry Melton, Charles Tillman, & Tim Jennings
All 5 were also voted as starters.

LOL I didn't even read then first - just closed the first one I clicked on. Nothing scientific about it.
Can't believe Briggs didn't get in. Possibly his best season IMO. Victim of the evolution of the pass rushing 3-4 OLB for sure. _________________

Was just about to make that point about the 3-4 OLB. He had no chance of getting in over A. Smith, Ware or Matthews with all the sacks they rack up. Those guys should be in the same group as DEs like Peppers, Allen and JPP.
NFL should consider a "pass-rusher" category in Pro Bowl voting similar to "front court" in NBA All-Star voting. _________________ I'm a Bears fan. |

They can only play 4-3 and they can only play cover 1, 3, or 0. So until they do 2 separate defensive teams OLBs are OLBs. Briggs has played as well as any 4-3 OLB in the league this year tho. _________________

Even though the Pro Bowl needs to be abolished it's still good to see the players recognised for their play, and all five deserve to be there IMO.
Tillman and Jennings are the first cornerback teammates to be selected as Pro Bowl starters since 1988!
Agree that Briggs definitely should have been there, but there are some weird inclusions, Jeff Saturday for example...
Briggs tweeted this too:
| Quote: | | Proud of my teammates tht made the pro bowl this year. Well deserved and honored to be playing next to them. |
Love that. _________________

Great selections; all hard workers. Briggs definitely got robbed, but he'll probably get in when somebody else backs out.
Melton's price tag just went up, though. _________________

This will mean nothing...
When hes announced as an all pro, then he can use that as ammunition... _________________

Jeff Saturday made the Pro bowl and was benched by the Packers.
What an idiotic homer fan voting exhibition. _________________

They were talking about it last week during the GB/TEN game that Chicagoland didn't get flexed off of when it was 55-0 how he handled his demotion with class. I believe they replaced him with Dietrich-Smith. _________________
