I don't think anyone here is on record for saying he should be our choice. No one ever saw this coming (assuming it is true).
It's interesting how stories like this always come up just prior to the draft, so I'm going to take it with a grain of salt. It sounds very believable though, and obviously doesn't look good on his part.

Notre Dame just released a statement about it being true... But claimed Manti was hoaxed, even after he went to Hawaii twice to visit her and said he talked to her every night on the phone in an ESPN interview.

I find it hilarious that Notre Dame is saying Te'o and his family were hoaxed when they were obviously in on it the whole time.

100% chance we trade down.
We have limited cap-space, no 2nd round pick and way too many holes to not trade down. Arizona could be a possible partner to trade up for Joeckel in this scenario, or a team trading up for a QB.
Why would KC draft a NT when they drafted a NT in the first round last year? they will draft a QB.
