we desperately need a win here, but its not like we havent gone into Denver and won already this season. I know a lot has changed like no Cushing and Manning has gotten better, but at least we have the confidence to go in there and play well

but i would prefer not to leave the comfort of our nice and warm dome. If we win then that means we dont have to play outdoors the rest of the season (unless the weather is nice)

and i wouldn't be shocked to see the Colts back in Houston in 2 weeks for a 2nd round playoff match up. wouldnt that be crazy, playing them 3 times in 4 games

Same here, I would prefer this compared to the Ravens who are getting back Ray Lewis

Over the past two years under Phillips, when Houston has racked up a combined nine or more sacks and quarterback hits, the Texans' record is 16-4; when the total is less than nine sacks/hits, the record drops to 7-6.

Very telling stat, hope we can get some pressure this week and in the playoffs.

if im not wrong, we havent ever beaten the colts twice in a season, this would be a great year to end that streak

That comes with never winning in Indianapolis.

Ya, we've had alot of firsts this year. Hopefully we can continue that Sunday.

OD looks to play Sunday, so that just leaves Ball out

Weird fact of the week that works in our favor: if we manage to win this game, we will go undefeated throughout the season on CBS, where we are currently 10-0. Each of our other losses has been on another network - vs. GB was on SNF on NBC, vs. NE was on MNF on ESPN, and vs. MIN was a home game against the NFC on FOX. Also boding well from that fact: if we win, every possible playoff game would also be on CBS as they get all AFC playoff games from the divisional and championship rounds and have the Super Bowl this year.

Not that this actually affects how the game is played. Just peculiar enough in my mind to note.

Darn. I want a superb owl. I only have this POS barn owl. Hedwig would be a major upgrade.

And who represented the AFC in the Superb Owl the last two times it was on CBS?

Inactive list features no Brooks Reed today:

#Texans inactives: Alan Ball, Stanford Routt, Brooks Reed, Antoine Caldwell, Andrew Gardner, Cody White, Terrell McClain.

Good. Save him out for the playoffs so he re injure his groin injury once again.
