| After losing 6 straight to end the season, how can Schiano be given a free pass? |

Sounds like something that I would see on the PR boards..
anyways no, with Freeman, the secondary, the DC, and the injuries to the o-line....we are lucky to have 6 wins _________________

seriously please dont let that happen. One of the reasons I love this board is the people here. I never have been a big poster over there.
and the answer to this question is no. We overachieved WAY TOO fast and got all of our hopes up, including mine. Ive just tried to take a step back and think about what we thought of our team last year going into this year.
Take a deep breath. Were young, got a ton of injuries, and still had a few holes. If Freeman can build from the good points of this year, we can get a new DC and some new DB's we can play very well next year _________________

| That is why I posed it with a question mark. The absolute regression of the team is concerning. He should definitely have to answer for it, IMHO. |

i hate to sit here and make excuses for this team, and players but your expecting a ton out of a rookie that has no help from corners. John Lynch looked like a bust for the first three years of his career.
Everyone expects too much too soon. No time for development or plans. If you dont win now get out. It's mind bogling how impatient everyone is getting nowadays _________________

Mark Barron was a top 10 pick. Barron was supposed to be a STUD and I mean STUD tackler.. he has missed a lot of tackles. Hell he was putting forth so little effort he got blocked by Amendola and took out Ahmad Black and gave up the last 40 yards of the TD on the first play of the second half. I would say Dominik and Schiano misjudged just how good Barron was going to be. |

No way do we bail on Schiano. Maybe he eases off the gas a little once things are running like he wants them. For now though, go hard and weed out the mentally weak! _________________

Haha I had a good laugh at this one. Schiano has done a good job. If anything I question the character of the players.
Remember schiano is still in the process of building HIS team. Guys like josh freeman for example weren't his picks. He may not have the patience with a regressing 4 year qb.
If anyone's job is on the hotseat , it's mark Dominick's. sure he had a heck of an offseason in 2012 but from drafts 09-11 , we have several question marks yes that includes freeman McCoy benn bowers Clayborn Lewis price. All high round draft picks that aren't exactly lighting it up.
I include McCoy bc for a top 3 pick he hasn't really played up to his status. Geno Atkins hands down best DT from tht class. |
