| Quote: | | The problem in today’s NFL is that players are only allowed 14 total full speed practices after the season starts. After wk 11, you are only allowed a total of 3 for the rest of the season, and you can only have a max of 1 per week. Going against an offense as intricate as the Pats cannot be simulated in walk-throughs and 3/4 practices. You have to have multiple periods where you go live, and do it on multiple days to see what it feels like and what can go right or wrong in the game while trying to substitute on the fly against a no huddle attack like this. The Patriots practice this attack all-season. Houston sees it once (or twice because of the playoffs). By limiting practice, the coaches have their hands tied by the new CBA. Some things you can’t simulate during a walk through. You need live practice. |

Watched that earlier...It's unbelievable some of the holding calls that were made against our secondary, especially McCourty on Smith.
That huge sack they got late in the game, would have made it like 3rd and goal on the Pats like 15 or something, gets canceled out for a phantom hold on Spikes. They get a 1st and goal and then score.
Sooo frustrating watching that game. _________________

I've always wondered why the tag for explicit content online is NSFW. I get that it's "not safe for work", but with this gif for example, what kind of work place can you watch bruce willis gifs, but NOT if they involve nudity.
Or places like reddit. If you're spending your time at work browsing random pictures/articles, surely it's not specifically the boob showing in one of the plethora of pictures that will get you in hot water...

Depending on what's going on that day I could be watching youtube for four hours at my work and that's just fine. So it does in fact matter. _________________

I agree. I was there for Cassel-led Patriots team vs Chargers on primetime television in San Diego. I remember lobs happening, I remember Patriots getting blown out, but I left not completely shattered.
Wonder why this is? |
