Week 17 GDT Eagles @ Giants We can only hope ...

All we have left in this season is hope. We need a bunch of stuff to happen and if luck falls our way we get in. I've seen many of these situations arise over the years. And while most fail, some have succeed. We are a weak team going up against an even weaker team. Foles being out Vick reclaims his throne as the Eagles starter for possibly one last time.

This is going to be a hard fought game by both parties and each side can only hope for a win.

I'm not sure I'm even hoping for a win...we won't be beating the 9ers, Seahawks, falcons, redskins or even the Vikings the way we're playing so why not get a better draft pick.

Our past two Superbowl's we beat teams that we were projected to lose to.

I see where you are coming from with the draft pick and all, but I'd personally rather have a chance than a draft pick.

Always have to hope for the playoff berth. We weren't optimistic going into week 17 against the Pats in 2007 either but it sparked a wave of momentum that carried us through the playoffs. There is enough talent on this team to do damage in the playoffs. A little momentum and some better execution and this team can be dangerous. Coming out and executing and playing well against Philly could go a long way if we get lucky and circumstances allow us to compete in the postseason. The difference in draft pick is minute compared to the opportunity to have another 2007/2011 type postseason.

whatever they do I hope they don't play the 4-4-3 look. If I ever see Herz on the field again I'm going to throw up. I watched the awful Ravens game again and geez Herz is terrible.

We should win but I have this bad feeling dudes have checked out.

I remember Philly got really lucky in 2008 when they made the playoffs. They were red hot and had many things go there way. Unfortunately for us we're hot garbage right now.

I think this game is ugly but we get a win. Philly has checked out more than we have. But with Chicago beating Detroit, at least, we're done for the year.

Honestly, if we somehow do win, and if the other three team we need to lose somehow miraculously all lose, this team is just going to embarrass themselves in the playoffs.
