I was gonna say the same thing. He'll definitely be a first rounder now. _________________

No to 3 wideouts.
Assuming we re-sign Hartline, we have Hartline and Bess as our #2 and #3 WR.
Rishad Matthews looks like he's developing well. He'll be the #5, for now.
We just need a legit #1 and another good receiver. |

Markus Wheaton is a guy you all should check out, I feel like he's a pretty dynamic guy and would be a great pick for us at the WR position. _________________ -Proud 2011 Inductee to FF's Miami Dolphins RoH |

| UF Safety Matt Elam has stated he intends to declare. I'm all for putting some serious talent upgrades on the back end of our Defense and if Elam is still around with our second-round 2nd pick I think that would be a good value based off his collegiate production and listed physical traits. |

Coyle like his safetys interchangable and jones and elam can play both free and strong. Elam is a playmaker who can get over aggressive at times but always looking for the big play and his biggest strength is he has a presence and attitude about him about. |

Wheaton has speed to burn and a few so called experts say they see some Mike Wallace in him. I like him cause he can line up inside and outside. I hope we get guys who can lineup in multible spots and create mismatches wheaton is that guy |

Xavier Rhodes: One of my favorite players in this draft. This guy his a good press man Corner. When facing the best WR duo in the ACC, he only gave up one big TD and that was on a zone defense when the safety did not make the proper read.
Dion Jordan: I know he is a little smaller but the guy is an athletic freak and is versatile enough to move around to confuse offense. Reminds me right now of Michael Johnson from the Bengals
Markus Wheaton: i have just recently seen some tape of this guy. play maker. A guy that can run after the catch and just gets open. He really knows how to use his speed.
Tyler Eifert: Even if Egnew develops, it doesn't hurt to have two TEs. In fact Green Bay has 2-3 TEs they use a lot. For young QBs ,TE can be a big time safety blanket. _________________

Did anybody watch the Fiesta Bowl last night? I wanted to know how Dion Jordan did. I saw a few plays when they were on D and he did make a play in the backfield, but he lined up at OLB and went completely untouched. That doesn't really give me an idea of anything about him. Any other insight on the game? _________________

Good all around player. I'm not TOTALLY convinced he is a pass rusher though. Gotta do film study on him. _________________

I only made it about halfway through the game before I fell asleep...5AM comes early!
I was not impressed with Dion's performance. He only made one play that I saw. He didn't bother to flow to the runner when plays went to the other side....just stood where he was with his hands on his hips and watched fellow players make the tackle.
Too bad as he is I felt could be there for us and his build makes me think of JT.
Edit. Lets see what the texas boys can do tonight. Might be a RT or DE prospect for us. |
