Yes, a shoulder injury could slow him down a bit and his bull rush move doesn't work as well. _________________

Since we do have a bye, does the chances of acquiring a kicker more likely? _________________

But that's not losing a step. That's not having as strong a push. Losing a step would imply being slower. I was arguing semantics, here. Not disagreeing on the lessened effectiveness of Aldon lately. _________________

Gotcha, whatever the term he's not been as explosive . He just can't get do any of his patented moves but hopefully the week off helps. _________________

nah... Crabtree was doing very well prior to ck7. |
Big diff in very well and exploded! Last 5 gms. 35 CTH 538 yards 4 TD. Been targeted 15 times downfield(15+ yards) since the QB change. He went from one of the wr from the 2009 class to the top wr of that class. _________________ I love me some 49ers, Michigan, and my Lakers.

Crabtree was doing well with Smith at QB. But Kap targets him more and there's a connection between Crab n Kap like Alex and VD _________________

The problem, right now, is if a defense shuts down Crab, how will we respond. We haven't seen anyone else convert a 3rd down in a while... _________________

I know man. That's a huge problem. Lets see what happens ... Hopefully Kap will find someone. Good thing is both the games could be at home. _________________

That's why I used the word "if". In any case, do you want our offense to be that one-dimensional? _________________

I was thinking the same exact thing and I don't want a repeat of last year's playoffs where we only have one option. And Crabtree can definitely be taken away against teams with stud CBs such as Sherman. Losing Manningham and Williams hurts, but I'm hoping Davis can some how get loose once again. _________________

I think everyone else has to step up. VD, Delanie and Randy. Crabtree has been carrying the load. What he's down with 3rd down conversions this year has been astounding, and I think he's more than living up to the pre-draft comparison I made of him, as an Anquan Boldin type. He's terrific. But if and when the others around him finally step up, we'll be unstoppable. _________________
