I've been thinking about how to improve our offence besides upgrading QB as that's inevitable. I was thinking specifically about RB and I've seen two trade options be mentioned by posters here (McFadden and Jones-Drew), there's also DeAngelo Williams, but how would people think about Rashard Mendenhall? He's a talented running back who'll be available as there's no chance he remains in Pittsburgh. _________________

| Personally i'd rather draft someone. If Gio Bernard can be had in the third or we can trade down in the 2nd to grab him late in the second, i'd take him. If not, I would draft Barner and pair him with Powell. I think he has potential to be like Reggie Bush. And if not, on the topic of Reggie Bush, he could be a good FA target for us as well. I don't want Mendenhall and MJD's price will likely be high. No for DeAngelo or Steve Jackson as well. |

| Also, I love McFadden's game, but I think he's too injury prone to go after. |

I feel RB might be the position that is largely neglected this offseason. We have so many other needs to fill, so I think we might have to be satisfied with a one year band-aid fix at RB. _________________

Or go with Powell and a cheap FA. _________________

Marcus Lattimore and Bilal Powell will be a great combo
Beef up the O-Line and establish the run game _________________

Beef up the O-Line and establish the run game | We can't rely on Lattimore, especially since he might not play the entire 2013 season. Plus, who knows how he'll come back. |

I'd take a late round flyer on him and improve the line and let Powell and McKnight handle the carries until Lattimore is at full strength _________________

We need to either sign a vet or draft someone in the earlier rounds who could come in day 1 and make an impact. |

I assume all this "love" for Powell is because he's still under his rookie contract.
I like both Franklin and Barner but I wouldn't mind if we also picked up Bell in the 6th or 7th. |

| I'm thinking a trade or FA is most likely. I think one of the Panthers backs will be let go, Darren McFadden will likely be on the market, and I've just read Beanie Wells will likely be out in Arizona as well. |

Beanie Wells is Shonn Greene, but more injury prone. _________________
