You're ok with Williams and William Powell? I don't know... |
I don't think there is any way we let LSH leave this team, so with those three as a trio I am OK with. Happy, no, OK with yeah, I don't want us to have to force ourselves to take a RB in the draft.
If the value is there, take him, if not wait. |
I'll have to see on LaRod. There haven't been any talks as far as I know. _________________

Eddie Lacy in the 3rd. He's the anti-Beanie... _________________

He runs a lot like Beanie but I do love that he's durable and he's got a helluva mean streak. In that way, he is the anti-Beanie. Apollo14000 pointed it out in yesterday's game thread, Beanie goes down before contact/on weak contact more than anyone I've seen in a Cardinals jersey in a long, long time. That there is just as maddening as the injuries. _________________

Rated as the number 2 RB in the draft. No chance we land him in the 3rd. _________________

Well there might be. I don't believe there's a RB with a 1st round grade in this draft, I think there's only 1 with a top 50 grade. We're gonna pick very early in round 3, you never know. _________________

From a casual perspective, there are a fair few top RB's that have come from very late picks, and run on teams with great blocking. Maybe we should look at our line instead of our backs? _________________

Adrian Peterson, Pick 7
Marshawn Lynch, Pick 12
Jamaal Charles, Pick 73
Alfred Morris, Pick 173
Arian Foster, Undrafted
Doug Martin, Pick 31
Steven Ridley, Pick 73
Chris Johnson, Pick 24
CJ Spiller, Pick 9
Frank Gore, Pick 65
Actually a lot higher than I imagined. _________________

A RB in the draft is almost a given if Wells leaves but I can't see our FO drafting one in the top 2 rounds again. Also I expect they draft a well rounded back who can run, block, and catch so we're much less restricted on offense. With Wells there was no screen game. I don't know another team in the league that passes to their RB less. If we did pass to our RB, LSH was in so it was much more predictable.
Personally, I like Le'Veon Bell/Michigan St and Zac Stacy/Vanderbilt a lot. |

For the right price I would look at Reggie Bush. Miami will probably let him walk this offseason. _________________
