Ya I stopped watching at halftime, but dude looked good, the only thing is I only saw him play LDE and Sheard already plays that but maybe hunt can do both - kid is still a bit of a project but could be a real steal _________________

I don't know what to make of it but any NFL scout worth his salt need to look into the fact that such a giant man with such dominant abilites has never put those often. The need to look into the fact that he has clearly saved his two biggest performences of his entire career for his 2 bowl games.
I don't know how anyone else feels but that reeks of a lazy guy knowing when to get max effort so he can cash in. He clearly has the physical abilities to perform at a much higher level and it has to be at least fishy that he did turn it on when scouts were watcing most. _________________

Kam I have to agree with you. Not a fan of "saving your best for last" if you haven't been consistent all year. I was impressed by what he showed tonight as a monster. However he should have just brought it all year. _________________

And he is also be 26 before his first NFL snap.
All that negative I would still take him in the mid 3rd to 4th if he is available. After pick 75 I say the risk is worth the reward. If he flames out you only lose a mid round pick and if he explodes then you look like a genius. _________________

Tonight we'll get a good look at two pretty darn good prospects. Its just too bad we really don't have a need for the one and the other isn't a huge weekness either. First is Eric Fisher who I currently have 15th on my board and the final player I would give a 1st round grade. The second prospect to really watch tonight is one of DS's rare stat sheet scouting gems Andrew Jackson.
In those SEC bouts with Alabama and LSU I proclaimed him to be a solid but nothing special prospect, however, after watching many more games against teams with equal talent the kid flat out took over and dominated. I rewatched Alabama and came away with the knowledge that those SEC simply game planned to take him away and make the other 10 players beat them. When you are the only talented player on a team it is easy to look not better than solid against the SEC.
I have become a big fan of Andrew Jackson and really want him on the Browns be it this year or next as he is only a junior. _________________

LOL at KT. Dogging me for scouting methods and then saying yeah this guy is awesome.
Wish Q.Smith was playing. Him against C.Mich's OT's would have been cool to see. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

updated. Also all Height Weight measurements are from NFLDraftscout.com
And I got the handy dandy bowl scheduling from CBSsports.com
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/schedules/bowls
Non BCS Bowl Games
The 28th will have 3 Bowl Games
The 29th will have 5 Bowl Games
The 31st will have 4 Bowl Games
The 1st will have 4 Bowl Games
The 4th,5th and 6th will have one a piece to end the Non BCS Bowl Season.
Oh and BCS Bowl games will have there own threads/master thread is my intention. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I was talking about Nick Kasa as a late round sleeper in the Draft forum and a good poster introduced me to Ryan Otten so I watched a game and from that small sample I was impressed. Reminds me of Jason Witten as he is not the most athletic guy in the world but he knows how to shake a defender and find the soft spots for easy receptions.
Another to look at today is his QB David Fales who is a junior on the fence about coming out. He may be an option in the 3rd or trade up from the 3rd. _________________

| I'll have my BG gear on watching the game today. Someone is going to get a great player when they take Chris Jones. Absolute monster. |

I am beyond piszed that this game is on at 3PM today.
Work will mean I only get to hear the 4th quarter on the way home most likely.
Such BS.
My Falcons deserve better (though I expect them to be beaten soundly) _________________

| David Fales, QB from San Jose St is simply ridiculous. If we don't go QB this year, he's the guy I want next year. He's the next really good QB prospect. A can't miss type QB |
