but at the end of the day, it comes down to who has the better gameplan, who executes better and who wants it more when it comes down to playoff football. I just hope our guys still have that disgusted taste of being so close to a SB when the playoffs roll around. _________________

I also would not be surprised if there's a potential playoff rematch with the Seahawks. The Seahawks are hot and can easily reach the NFCCG. We have the potential to go there too.
On one hand i welcome a rematch, especially if its at home. OTOH i want nothing to do with the Seahawks anymore |

1- We do better as underdogs. Look at how few people gave us a chance in the Pats game. Look how highly we got talked up afterwards as a result. We do not do better as the favourites, period.
2- If we're the 5 seed, we likely face the Redskins. Seahawks would go to 3 seed and are unstoppable at home. The likely scenario, if we win, is face the Redskins and Falcons on the road. Much better than say, going to GB as the #3 seed.
Of course, the #2 seed is still possible...and i'm not rooting for a loss even if we do end up with the 3 seed. Just saying... |
I said the same thing in the GDT. It really only changes the first game, though. Basically it's would you rather face Chicago at home or Washington/Dallas on the road? Tough call, tbh... I think we win either game. After that, we're likely going to play two of Green Bay, Atlanta, and Seattle anyway... should we go all the way, that is. I'll take the home game and less travel. _________________

At least if we play the Vikes, I think we'll win that matchup. The next round after will be tough against GB/Seattle. I would love to meet Seattle again at our house. _________________

49ers/Seahawks is turning into Steelers/Ravens West... I love it. I just hate losing. _________________

More than likely you all will play the Bears on wildcard weekend.
I would say the Vikings, but if the Vikings win you guys are going to get the #2 seed because the Vikings obviously play the Packers. |
