7 down, just us to go. |
Love this. Guy has done a terrific job with their defense. Now they'll have to adjust. _________________

Maurice Jones-Drew can't be happy.
For those who didn't hear, Adam Gase was named the Broncos new OC. _________________

No one wants any part of our offensive coaching staff.

Bradley's possible replacement in Seattle:
Seattle Seahawks: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there is a "strong possibility" Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will replace Gus Bradley as the Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator. The Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles are also interested in Quinn, according to Schefter.
Quinn was my DC-crush for the Bills. He has history with the Seahawks as a DL coach. _________________

Jacksonville requested permission from New Orleans to interview Pete Carmichael Jr for its OC job. New Orleans still wants to re-sign him. |

Sorry Phillip Rivers. Get ready to complete some two yard out routes! _________________

I cannot wait for the draw plays on running downs.
So Rivers can be 3rd and 15 all the time. |

This is disingenious. Ken was a pretty good playcaller when he actually did it (07/09/10) and the offense he is going to run is going to play very much into the strengths of Philip Rivers too.
I could very easily see Philip bouncing back with another elite year in a Ken Whisenhunt offense. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

It would be foolish to assume anything at this point with Ken IMO. Good or bad. He may have once been a terrific playercaller but when you hired Mike Miller to run your offense and call your plays (potentially), you've lost a lot of credbility you once had.
We were the laughing stock of pro football. The worst offense in the league and one of the worst in team history. Ken should receive no benefit of the doubt and have to proove himself all over again. _________________

I would loved to have seen any NFL coach in history have success with Skelton/Lindley at QB for 10 games. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

He picked Skelton to start the year. He regressed under Ken to the point where he was unwatchable. _________________

While true, that's a player evaluation problem not a playcalling problem. Ken's not evaluating players in San Diego. _________________

Given that I've started questioning Rivers' arm strength, I was thinking the same thing. His total passing yards will probably benefit from the frequent passing plays being called. _________________
