The Browns have told Ray Horton to prepare for a second interview. Cleveland will target Horton if negotiations with Chip Kelly break down. |
i heard they were deciding between Kelly and Marrone |
Well if Kelly goes to the eagles and Marrone decide to stay in college. A 2nd interview is big if it happens. _________________

I expect Horton to be named HC here by tomorrow or Monday. Just my gut feeling... I think he's always been the favorite along with Keim. Both guys make too much sense not to happen. _________________

Buffalo hires Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone as head coach.
| Quote: | Doug Marrone is staying in Upstate New York but leaving college for the pros.
The Bills have agreed to hire Marrone, who has spent the last four years as the head coach at Syracuse, as their next head coach, ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported and multiple media outlets have confirmed.
Marrone has been the head coach at Syracuse for the last four seasons, compiling an overall record of 25-25. He is coming off a season in which he went 8-5, concluding with a Pinstripe Bowl win over West Virginia.
Marrone’s NFL experience includes stints as the offensive coordinator of the Saints and offensive line coach of the Jets. He was also briefly an NFL guard, playing four games for the Dolphins in 1987 and one game for the Saints in 1989.

Any ideas on whom Steven Keim would bring with him or names surrounding him other than Ray Horton to be Head Coach? _________________

If Chip Kelly turns down Cleveland, we have to hire Ray Horton. That's simply what has to happen. _________________

I'm sure they are but Horton's a for sure finalist. He's 1 of 2-3 guys up for that job and if Kelly goes to Philly (Which Ian Rapoport says he's 50-50 on), we're playing coin flips for keeping a helluva coach and a helluva man. As Jurecki himself said, now we're just rolling dice.
That's not how good franchises operate, rolling the dice with key personnel. _________________

Cleveland has no plan B as far as anyone knows...
Could be someone they already interviewed, or someone completely different. _________________

They've told Ray Horton to expect a 2nd interview.
I'd call that a pretty obvious Plan B. _________________

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and execs are headed back to Browns. Sources say they will reboot coach search without Chip Kelly in the fold.

So Doug Marrone and Kelly are out for the Browns and as of right now there a 2nd interview coming up for Horton. Arizona needs to do something soon. _________________

Exactly.
Get Keim, get Horton and get ready for the Senior Bowl. Let's start moving forward with this thing. _________________
