If Colston's fluky fumble doesn't occur and we get a stop, this isn't even a question. In my opinion, its still not a question. Garrett should and will stay.

Man just change the name cowboy nation to knee-jerk nation already.
Do we really need a whole damn thread about this?

This team is clearly over-achieveing. They gave it everything they got for 60 minutes and that's all we can ask from them. We need this off-season to make some serious noise next year to let everyone in the NFL know what we are capable of.

You cant have more than half of your starters gone and expect to beat one of the offenses in the league in the saints.

I'm not giving up on garrett. I have said before Garrett needs atleast 3 offseasons to make us a serious contender and so far it looks like it is going to be that way.

We scold our players of being quitters but if we act like this for even one loss why do we even deserve success? Cowboy nation make me sick sometimes. They gave everything they got for 60 minutes. What else do you want from a team that is MOST severly depleted in cowboys history?

Rob Ryan is working miracles with a defense down 6 starters OUT OF 11 PLAYERS

whoever says he should be the one to go is an idiot

If we can draft in the trenches next year we will be fine.

Not just you....and at this point its not worth discussing.

Gets discussed every time we lose. As does trading Romo and kidnapping Jerry.

This is the part somebody comes forward and says he knows some Colombians who can make things happen.

I'd settle for Ecuadorians.

Can anyone even argue that loss was anywhere near on Garrett? The defense and Murray lost us that one. Garrett may be mediocre, but he has earned getting fired yet.

I can argue it. First I think he came into this game with no intention of running the ball at all. I don't recall a single series where they ran the ball more than 2 times.. of course, I don't recall too many series of more than a few plays..

Second, they moved the ball well late in the game by running no huddle. Now I understand why Garrett doesn't use no huddle the entire game.. He wants long, 8 minute drives to give his banged up defense a chance to rest. I get that but in OVER TIME, he should have kept the tempo up and ran no huddle..

I agree that in the end, the Defense cost the Cowboys this game.. no doubt but the offense could have sole another had Garrett simply kept with the no huddle.. who knows.

I have your man. All we need is some duct tape, a 3.5 volt battery, and fishing line. A LOT of fishing line

This team may have holes, but this team is no longer soft or weak willed. JG deserves 100% credit for that. If the Cowboys add more Garrett players in the offseason we will be one of the best.

And I don't even count us out this year. Lots of parity this year.
