So....out of all of our defensive injuries....anybody know (if we make the playoffs), we will get any of them back? Or are they all on IR? _________________ I'm a Dallas Fan.

The only player right now we stand to get back is Matt Johnson, and that's if we make the playoffs. He was given the IR-DFR designation. _________________

Ratliff is still able to return since he is not on IR (yet).
Ware is still able to return since he is not on IR (yet).
And Matt Johnson can be removed from IR to return. That's about all of the starters we can get back. _________________

The Cowboys converted just 20% of third downs. That's pretty inexcusable. _________________

Hadn't we been pretty good in that area the last few weeks? _________________

I don't know about the last few weeks, but not today. _________________ I'm a Dallas Fan.

Just how bad was Bruce Carter's dislocated elbow that he's not eligible to return from IR?
Didn't Jacques Reeves have one of those and only miss a week?
Also, I'm a little fuzzy on that whole rule... can we only designate 1 player for that returnable IR list at a time? _________________

Yes, try 44%. I'd say thats more than pretty good. They exploited the weakest part of our defense, we didn't do enough on offense to keep them off balance. The clutch sacks that had been there the past few weeks were missing and Demarco needs to get his little fumbling thing eradicated quickly. _________________

That is correct. And I could be wrong but didn't Carter fracture the elbow also? Which required surgery? _________________

Hear this but not sure if true:
I read that during regulation a fumble can't be advanced under 2 minutes, but apparently that rule doesn't affect OT.
Anyone know if this is accurate?
If it is, that's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. _________________

Norm Hitchkiss said if the ball had advanced/gone into the end zone then that would have been an issue. The old ken Stabler rule.
I'm not sure about your exact scenario/question though. It would be pretty stupid. _________________ I'm a Dallas Fan.

Yes, it's true.
And it's stupid.
Everything about that call/ruling was stupid. Especially when you consider the same exact thing (except even more progress being made by the WR) happened last week with Emmanuel Sanders and was ruled incomplete when we recovered it. _________________
