Beason- IR (missed 12 games)
Kalil- IR (missed 11 games)
Gamble- IR (missed 12 games)
Stewart- (missed 7 games)
Edwards- IR (missed 5 games)
Anderson-(missed 4 games)

I'm assuming you mean that because he didn't miss more games we suffered. He's lost more games with his play than Mare did last year. _________________

i think i'd rather take lovie smith. whisenhunt is/was awful until he lucked into kurt warner.
lovie smith won games with kyle orton, rex grossman, and jay cutler. i wonder what he could do with cam newton... but he would also have to fix our OL
i'm still aboard the chip train until he's ruled out. _________________

| Why is there momentum for Chip Kelly? College coaches generally don't excel in the NFL. |

Still want Rivera for another year. Haven't changed my feelings on that. _________________

greg schiano improved team by 3 wins
pete carroll got two playoff berths, including a win
jim harbaugh, #2 seed two years in a row
steve spurrier refused to adjust from his college offense
nick saban treated everyone like a kid and had a bad attitude iirc
chan gailey is in buffalo and lol buffalo they always suck
pretty much the same success rate as coordinators or retreads. _________________

I think most people agree Nick Saban is a very good head coach. His personality is just not fit for the pro game. While Chip Kelly wants control, I think it is more in the mold of having input on personnel moves than controlling every single thing. Nick Saban wants just that - total and absolute control. And his personality around a bunch of college kids and then his personality around a bunch of grown men is going to create different results.
But every guy since him has done a very good job (Saban did a fine job as well at least his first year). Schiano took a team that is not very talented in Tampa and had them competing week in and week outs sans this past month and that had a lot to do with Freeman. Carroll and Harbaugh have just been outstanding. I think it is time to look at college coaches to NFL differently.
With that said, I'm still unsure on Chip Kelly but I wouldn't be opposed to it. _________________

Chip Kelly is a mastermind. There is no doubt in my mind he will excel.
He is a far superior coach than Ron Rivera. _________________
